About Patrick:
Pastor Patrick Penn graduated from The University of Alabama at Birmingham in 1994 earning a B.S. in Psychology. While in graduate school he surrendered his career in psychology to pursue full time ministry. Since then he has held multiple ministry positions at various churches throughout North Alabama.

He was ordained with World Ministry Fellowship based out of Plano, TX in 1998 and with Encounters Network based out of Franklin, TN in 2005. Since 2004 Pastor Penn has served as Founding and Senior Pastor of The Dwelling Place in Huntsville, Alabama. He Co-founded Christian Advocates for Israel in 2008 and currently serves on a number of ministry boards within the Huntsville community including the Greater Huntsville Pastor’s Prayer Summitt, Citywide Feasts Celebration and Awareness Ministry. He is also the director of the annual City Wide Feast of Tabernacles celebration.

Pastor Penn works closely with the Jewish community and has hosted multiple gatherings to promote relationship and cooperation between the local Christian and Jewish communities. On a broader level, his multiple trips to Israel have proven to be of historical significance in Christian/Jewish relations internationally. In 2007 he was part of the first Christian delegation sent to Israel by the AIEF (American Israel Education Foundation.) In 2009 he attended the first pastor’s conference hosted by the ICEJ (International Christian Embassy Jerusalem) and in 2010 he was selected by Christian Friends of Yad Vashem to participate in the first ever Christian leaders seminar at the International School for Holocaust Studies.

Pastor Penn also travels to Washington D.C. each year to speak to Senate and Congressional leaders about the importance of the U.S. relationship with Israel.

Along with his local ministry responsibilities Pastor Penn loves to travel and often times ministers in foreign nations. He and his wife, Andrea have been happily married since 1995 and reside in Huntsville, Alabama with their 2 boys Seth and Samuel.
