There are seasons in life when we embark on new beginnings. During these times, it is important to take time to reflect and thank God for the places and life experiences He has brought us through, for the things He has taught us along the way, and we renew our hope and expectancy for the future He has for us.
Do you need a fresh start, a new beginning, or perhaps a rekindling of dreams from the past? We are living in a season where God is rekindling dreams and giving fresh vision. He is calling many to new adventures with Him. For some of us, He is calling us to take leap of faith and step out of our comfort zone! No worries, God is here to catch us as we leap after Him!
Today, I want to look at CHET the Hebrew letter associated with the month of Tammuz. It is important to note that each Hebrew month has a letter associated with the month. CHET is the number eight, and eight is the number of new beginning.
The letter Chet is also the symbol for light and life, and is symbolic of the light of God radiating through your eyes. God is opening your spiritual eyes to see like never before. It is a time to have vision for the future and a time for the Lord to show visions to you.
When the Lord gives a vision, it is important to look and look again at what the Lord is showing you. Ask Him questions and have an interactive dialogue with Him. As I teach people to unlock their spiritual eyes, this is key. So often, we get so excited when God shows us a picture or a vision that we forget to press in to see if He wants to reveal more details to us. This is a season for each of us to seek deeper revelation from the Lord.
As I am writing today’s devotion, I had an open vision of a hallway with many doors. The hallway seemed to float in the air and it was filled with great light and mist. The doors in the hallway were different colors and sizes. As I looked at the doors, I realized the doors symbolized different gifts the Holy Spirit is unlocking for this trip. Holy Spirit is giving each of us access! He is unlocking new beginnings and gifting inside of each of us. He is giving us access to as many doors as we desire. In the vision, I chose the blue door with yellow trim. It was the doorway for prophetic revelation. When I opened the door, I could feel a cool breeze blow on me and fill me. A calmness and peace washed over me. I could see other doors for healing, deliverance, miracles, freedom, and many other doors.
6 “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” 7“And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write, ‘These things says He who is holy, He who is true, “He who has the key of David, He who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens”: 8 “I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name.
Revelation 3:6-8 NKJV
11For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11 NKJV
A Prayer for You to Pray:
Father, I thank you that today is a day of new beginnings. Thank you for the season You have brought me through. Thank you for Your abounding love and peace. Thank you for never leaving me. Father I desire for you to open up my spiritual eyes today that I may see the plans you have for me. Give me fresh vision for the future. Reveal to me the plans you have for me in this next season. I thank you for meeting every financial, spiritual, and physical need in my life. Thank you for granting me access to the open doors you have for me. Give me boldness and wisdom to step through the open doors. I also am thankful for You closing doors to areas that I no longer need access too. I am expectant of what you have for me. In Jesus’ name. Amen
Take time to quiet yourself before the Lord. Expect for Him to unlock your spiritual eyes today. Lastly, make sure you journal what the Lord shows you, so that you will have it to track your journey with Him.
